I pay attention to history and current events. They are the outcome of abundant practices of people, which avoid the influence of individual difference on my research. They show a continuous and long-term development process about human being, and have comprehensive data resource. Many of my assumptions about PD can be confirmed in them. I also found some clues through exploring the reason behind.
What I can see about PD.
I can see practices driven by curiosity lead to sustainable development. Chasing for truth and being loyal to faith make us learn about ourselves and the world outside, with new cognitions and innovations. The quality of PD is related to the quality of motivation. I can see competition became the catalyst for development. Instead, a glorious empire is always trapped in a development level for lots of years. PD also needs the catalyst from outside. I can see many bilateral and multilateral cooperations to solve regional or global issues, which enhanced communication, understanding, and mutual trust. Collaboration among independent individuals burst forth with an infinite vitality of development, which is beneficial supplements for PD. I can see some regions with limited resource, even a crisis of survival, developed well with high-quality PD. These good development cases happened all over the world, which proved everybody has equal PD capacity.
Unlike the societies of other creatures, I can see human society doesn’t have established form and always moves forward. So, I believe PD has never had an upper limit. I believe civilization will continue, and the PD will give us infinite possibilities.
